International Journal of Energy and Power Engineering

Special Issue

Advanced Power Cycles and Heat Exchanger Technologies

  • Submission Deadline: 30 June 2015
  • Status: Submission Closed
About This Special Issue
Desire of human kind for continuous progress and our need to mitigate threats that global warming brings have led introduction of new power cycles that require more extreme design parameters and more aggressive process fluids. These requirements became great challenges for designers and manufacturers of conventional equipment and have led the introduction of novel heat exchanger technologies. This special issue would be a collection of work completed by research institutes, universities, process licensors, EPCs (Engineering Construction Procurement) and heat exchanger manufacturers across whole globe.

The areas that would be covered in this issue are:

1. Processes (Organic Rankine Cycles, Brayton & Maisotsenko cycles)
2. Application of Molten Salt, supercritical CO2
3. Finite element analysis of fluid & mechanical structures
4. Novel heat exchanger geometries.
