About This Special Issue
Materials of machinery are continuously being developed far from conventional alloys with great development to integrate with the modern engines requirements. Scientific research with experimental efforts are very important to enhance the understanding about the nature of degradation and consequences erosion of machine surfaces, which has major effects on the performance and service life of tools. So this topic investigates the effect of different material and different surface treatments on the properties related to erosion.

Aims and Scope:

  1. rotatery machine
  2. surface engineering
  3. advanced material engineering
  4. turbumachinary
  5. turbine blade design
  6. mechanical properties
