About This Special Issue
River morphology and river engineering are challenging subjects which are used to evaluate and estimate the shapes of rivers over times. River morphology includes a number of physical processes such as erosion, sedimentation, deformation and protection of river which need to be studied and evaluated very precisely. In a catchment study, river morphology is one of the most important problems related to flood management and protection. The main objective of this special issue is to collect a number of very high quality research papers and to enhance the latest engineering methods involving river morphology and engineering.
Aims and Scope:Erosion and sedimentation
River deformation and protection
Numerical and physical modeling
Sedimentation process in river bends
