About This Special Issue
The civil engineering industry needs materials technology studies and development to meet the demand for buildings. The development of chemistry and nanotechnology has contributed to the improvement of constructions through the development of new materials, chemical additives and innovative treatments in existing materials. It is very important that civil engineering is based on the sustainability of materials to make city development possible while preserving natural resources and emitting as little pollution as possible.
This issue seeks to address the development of new materials as well as the enhancement of existing materials through new technologies that seek to improve the microstructure through physical effects and chemical reactions that make the materials more resistant, increase durability and mainly contribute to sustainable construction. and environmental preservation. So we pursue discussions about particle application, material combination, and recycled material use. It is open for discussion on materials such as Portland cement concrete, steel, lime, gypsum, ceramics and other materials used in civil engineering and their applications.
Here researchers and students can present their research related to the purpose of the subject to contribute to the future of construction and civil engineering and to improve human life and preserve nature for new generations.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Material recycling
  2. Nanoparticles incorporation
  3. Mechanical property of materials
  4. Carbon Capture Method
  5. Durability of constructions
  6. Building sustainability
